2. DEFINITIONS

  • “Website” means www.a1mint.com
  • “Order” means a purchase order placed by you for Products
  • “Products” means bullion products only, including gold, silver, platinum, and rhodium bars and coins
  • “Cleared Funds” means funds received, verified, irrevocable, and retained in our bank account
  • “Contract Price” means the price agreed at the time the Order is placed
  • “Working Day” means Monday to Thursday and Saturday, excluding UK public holidays, during which our physical store and operations are open 10:30am–6:00pm (UK time)

3. USE OF THIS WEBSITE

3.1 You may use this Website for lawful, personal purposes only.
3.2 We may amend, suspend, or withdraw any part of the Website at any time without notice.
3.3 Product images are for illustration only; weight, purity, and specifications take precedence.
3.4 Orders will only be accepted where no material pricing or listing error exists.


4. ELIGIBILITY, CONTACT DETAILS & VERIFICATION

4.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to place an Order.
4.2 You must provide:

  • a valid phone or WhatsApp number, and
  • a valid email address.

Orders will remain on hold until contact details are verified.

4.3 We reserve the right to request verification documents at any stage, including:

  • government-issued photo ID,
  • proof of address, and
  • bank statements or transaction confirmations.

4.4 Unacceptable Bank Accounts and Statements

Bank statements issued by second-tier bank accounts are not accepted. For the avoidance of doubt, second-tier bank accounts include (but are not limited to) electronic money institutions (EMIs), prepaid card providers, app-based or digital-only payment platforms, and any non-FSCS-protected accounts that are not fully licensed UK high-street banks.

In addition, summary, cropped, masked, partially visible, edited, or otherwise altered bank statements will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Only original, complete, and official bank documents issued by a first-tier UK bank will be accepted. These documents must clearly and legibly display:

  • the full name of the account holder,
  • the bank name and account details, and
  • full transaction information, including dates and amounts.

Failure to provide acceptable documentation may result in order delays, cancellation, or refusal to dispatch goods until satisfactory verification is completed.

4.5 Failure to provide satisfactory verification may result in Order suspension or cancellation.


5. PRODUCTS, LIVE MARKET PRICING & PRICING ERRORS

5.1 All Products are priced dynamically using live international precious-metal market data. Prices fluctuate continuously.

5.2 Pricing relies on third-party metal price feeds. While reasonable care is taken, pricing errors may occur due to:

  • feed interruption or delay,
  • technical or system faults, or
  • abnormal market volatility.

5.3 Where a pricing error is identified before dispatch, we reserve the right to void, amend, or suspend the Order.

5.4 If a pricing error is discovered after an Order is placed but before dispatch, we will notify you and offer you the option to:

  • reconfirm at the correct price, or
  • cancel for a full refund.

If we cannot contact you, the Order will be treated as cancelled.

5.5 We are under no obligation to supply Products at an incorrect price, even if payment has been initiated or an automated confirmation issued.

Acceptance occurs only on dispatch.


6. PAYMENT TERMS (BANK TRANSFER ONLY)

6.1 Payment is accepted exclusively by bank transfer.

6.2 Orders will not be allocated, packed, or dispatched until full Cleared Funds are received and verified.

6.3 Customers must provide:

  1. account holder name,
  2. sending bank account details,
  3. a bank statement or an official document showing the specific transaction made to the A1J Limited (A1 Mint) bank account.

Screenshots or summaries are not accepted.

6.4 For Orders paid via bank transfer, A1 Mint will begin processing the Order 2–3 Working Days after payment is received, to allow our banking partners to complete mandatory security, anti-fraud, and authorisation checks confirming that the transaction has been approved by the account holder.

Orders will not be allocated, packed, or dispatched until this verification process is fully completed and the payment is deemed cleared, matured, and irreversible.


7. RETENTION OF TITLE & PAYMENT FAILURE

7.1 Ownership of Products remains with A1 Mint until Cleared Funds are received and retained.

7.2 Payment is not deemed cleared if it is recalled, reversed, disputed, frozen, or subject to bank investigation.

7.3 If payment is reversed after delivery:

  • Products remain our legal property, and
  • The customer holds them as bailee pending settlement.

7.4 Any decrease in metal price does not reduce the Contract Price payable.

7.5 Where payment is delayed or reversed, we may recover:

  • the Contract Price, and
  • any increase in metal price until payment recovery.

7.6 The customer is liable for all recovery costs, including legal fees and court charges.
Interest accrues at the statutory rate under the County Courts Act 1984.


8. ORDER & ACCEPTANCE

8.1 An Order constitutes an offer to purchase.
8.2 Acceptance occurs only upon dispatch.
8.3 All Orders are subject to:

  • verification,
  • receipt of Cleared Funds,
  • stock availability, and
  • confirmation that no pricing error exists.

9. DELIVERY & DISPATCH (UK ONLY)

9.1 The A1Mint Website is intended solely for UK residents. We do not offer international sales or delivery.

9.2 Delivery will be made to the name and address provided at checkout.
We cannot deliver to alternative names, addresses, or P.O. Boxes.

9.3 Once payment has been fully verified in accordance with Clause 6.4, and provided that:

  • Cleared Funds have been received and retained,
  • all identity, address, and security checks are completed, and
  • the Products are in stock,

A1 Mint will aim to dispatch the Order on the next Working Day.

Dispatch timelines are indicative only and may be extended where additional verification, security, or operational checks are required.

9.4 Delivery fees are shown during checkout.

9.5 Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to verification checks, courier delays, or peak periods.

9.6 Ownership passes on delivery only if Cleared Funds have been received and retained.

9.7 Before signing, you must inspect the parcel.
If damaged or tampered with, do not accept it.

Accepting a damaged parcel voids all insurance, and no claim will be accepted.

9.8 Where a customer places multiple Orders, including where a second or subsequent Order is placed before a previous Order has been dispatched, the following conditions shall apply:

a) Each Order constitutes a separate contractual transaction, and the customer remains fully liable for the delivery and insurance charges applicable to each individual Order, irrespective of whether such Orders are ultimately dispatched separately or together.

b) A1 Mint reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to delay the dispatch of an earlier Order until payment for all related Orders has been fully verified, matured, and deemed cleared and irreversible, in accordance with these Terms.

c) Once payment maturity has been confirmed, A1 Mint may, at its discretion:

  • dispatch Orders separately; or
  • combine two or more Orders into a single shipment for operational efficiency, security, fraud-prevention, or risk-management purposes.

d) Where Orders are combined into a single delivery, the customer expressly acknowledges and agrees that:

  • no refund, credit, or reduction of delivery or insurance charges shall be due in respect of any Order; and
  • the overall value of the shipment and the level of insurance cover required increases, meaning that delivery and insurance costs remain fully applicable and justified for each Order placed.

e) Where Orders are combined, the dispatch timeline shall follow the latest Order ready for shipment, and combined dispatch shall not give rise to any right to claim reduced postage, insurance charges, or separate delivery entitlements.

9.9 If an Order is not received, we must be notified in writing at info@a1mint.com within 3 Working Days of dispatch.
Claims may be refused after 7 Working Days and will not be accepted after 14 days.

9.10 For high-value or high-risk Orders, we reserve the right to deliver in person through authorised staff.
Valid photo ID and signature will be required.

9.11 You are responsible for providing a correct address.
If an incorrect address is provided and the parcel is lost:

  • we and the courier accept no liability, and
  • you waive any right to claim with a bank or card issuer.

10. CANCELLATION & RETURNS

10.1 Orders may be cancelled before dispatch, subject to:

  • a restocking fee of up to 30%, and
  • adverse metal price movement.

10.2 Under Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, bullion Products are exempt from standard cancellation rights.

10.3 Returns and exchanges are not permitted except at our sole discretion and in writing.


11. PRIVACY & COMMUNICATIONS

11.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11.2 Your email address is essential for Order confirmations and service communications.
By using this Website, you consent to receiving such communications.


12. LIABILITY

12.1 Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
12.2 We are not liable for market movements or investment losses.
12.3 Use of Products is at your own risk.


13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Website content is protected by intellectual property laws.
No licence is granted for commercial use without written consent.


14. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.


15. THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS

No third party has rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.


16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by English law.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England & Wales.
